Project Title: “Enhancing the Value of Savings Account in Bank Branches”
Client Organization: HDFC Bank, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh
Short Project Details: Banks have number of financial products. Saving accounts is one of them. It has different categories viz., senior citizens, defence personnel, children, salaried people, institutional, etc. In order to grow its business various marketing strategies are adopted by the bank. The present project tried to found out the methods for enhancing and improving the value of savings in different bank branches. The project report recommended minimizing cheque clearing dates, increase in number of ATM machines and bank branches, national integrated ATM services irrespective of individual banks, introduction of charge free third party deposit upto certain limit, increase in number of rural branches and quality of services there. The report also suggested designing of better queing system in bank counters and increased value added services like Phone banking, Net banking, etc. Systems also need to evolve to make people more aware of the financial products of the bank, particularly in rural and semi urban areas.
2. Major project in marketing in the final semester of MBA titled “The Scope of Print Media (newspapers) and strategies to enhance the newspaper industry in Agra city”.
3. Project in Marketing Management titled “Strategies for making Agra an eco-city”.
